BioArc supports electronic prescribing through connections with Ministry of Health infrastructure and insurers. The original announcement describes SEPAS certification, approved technical infrastructure and more than 170 electronic record forms designed for hospitals, supporting evidence-based medicine and resource management. Specialty and subspecialty forms are organized to be dynamic, flexible and responsive to experienced physicians' needs. BioArc electronic records are used in hospitals and specialist clinics affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences, including Farabi, Shariati, Arash, Baharloo and Razi hospitals and the Endocrinology Research Institute's specialist diabetes clinic, as well as other centers nationwide.
